About

A talented, creative, professional with 3 decades of artistic experience and technical expertise.

I live and work in this beautiful town of Wellfleet, MA where I have been since 1996. It's a town known locally for it's off-beat population and I fit right in. My grandparents were among the first generation of artists and writers to settle here in 1933. My generation came as children for idyllic summers of swimming, playing and trailing around, with the adults, to cocktail parties and art openings.

I identified as an artist early in my life and absorbed much from watching, listening and mimicking the artists that surrounded me. It was when a favorite aunt sent me to the Arts Student's League in NYC during my sophomore year at Vassar that I swallowed the Koolaid. Soon after, I transferred to The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and completed a BFA in the early 1980's.

There's been a huge shift in the graphic design world since I began working in the field after school.  Excited by the potential in digital imaging technologies I jumped right on board from the start. That was over 30 years ago!  I use computer technologies for graphic design, and also for fine art and merchandising. I love that what I create digitally can proliferate and that my work, in many versions, can decorate your life.

In addition to working for my own clients, I work part-time for the non-profit charitable organizations The Provincetown Community Compact and American Friends of Georgia and I work and volunteer at Wellfleet Preservation Hall.

Close to my heart, I work on the all-volunteer committees of Wellfleet Porchfest, Outermost Contra, and Artpeace, local organizations involved in creating wonderful, musical, and artful community events.
